  1. The main uses of the drug are thus limited to relieving moderate to severe arthritis pain. However on many occasions it is also used for stopping coughs and coughing among people. The drug is however abused a lot these days which transforms all its positive effects into negative ones. The use of the drug without proper medical advice should be avoided as it leads to large number of side effects. It leads to addiction of the drug which is harmful for any patient. This problem should hence be solved. One must try for a slow withdrawal treatment of the drug. The help of doctors is of utmost importance in this withdrawal treatment and each and every step should be taken only after consulting with them.
