| Posted: 17 Jun 2011 08:32 AM PDT Our insane stat of the day involves Rovio’s Angry Birds Rio app, which has been downloaded a whopping 10 million times in just 10 days following its March 22 release. That includes downloads for both iOS and Android. Angry Birds Rio is a $0.99 download via iOS, but was made available for free on Android through an agreement with Amazon on its new Appstore for Android. The 10 million download milestone was revealed in a cryptic tweet from Rio and later clarified by Mobile-Ent.biz. “10 in 10:-) Angry Birds Rio breaking all records. A massive thanks to all our fans!!!,” Rovio tweeted.
The demo version of the game is available as an executable file.After downloading the executable file to your PC, double click on it to start the installation. Then, follow the instructions on the installation wizard to install the Angry Birds game on your PC. After installing the game, you can get started with hitting the pigs. If you have bought an activation key, connect to the internet (if you are offline) and activate the game using the purchased key. It can be used to activate three installations. However, the key is meant for the single user who purchased it and he may use the same key for installations on either his desktop or laptop.

Note that the works only on SP2 or above and not on SP1. Further, users should have genuine windows OS running on their system to install this security product. Though a late entrant, it is definitely one of the best free antivirus software in the market. It is not only free for personal use but is also a free antivirus software for small businesses. Microsoft Security Essentials has good detection rates and it also throws less false positives. Though Microsoft Security Essentials for Windows offer a quick scan and a full scan, the full scan takes more time. The program’s wizard-like approach to finding and retrieving lost files will appeal to all users. The user interface is about as straightforward as it gets. Clean and simple menu and command buttons run across the top of the paneled window, while a tree-menu containing hard-disk folders to browse resides in a sidebar. But what stood out the most was the program’s wizard, which walked us through the process of locating long-lost files. It first prompts you to check your Recycle Bin, which sounds obvious, but is a necessary time-saver. The program has three search settings (Browse, Search, Deep Scan) and each has its own description so that you’ll know which to choose. Depending on the search setting you select, the program’s interface changes to accommodate the search. We started with a Deep Scan, which detects deleted file types. Once we selected the file types to include in the scan (All, Images & Photo, Archived Files, Music & Sounds) the program immediately went to work scanning our hard disk. Considering the task at hand, the program quickly pulled up deleted files. We liked the quick help links located throughout the interface to answer specific questions, but the program does included a very thorough built-in Help file. Our only complaint is that it left files that had to be manually deleted during uninstallation. However, we highly recommend this free program for any user looking to quickly locate a lost file.
